Republican Sinn Fein elects new President
Des Dalton became the new president of Republican Sinn Fein at its Ard-Fheis [annual conference] on Sunday.
Mr Dalton, from Athy in County Kildare, has been a member of Republican Sinn Fein (and previously Sinn Fein) since the age of 18 and has been a member of the RSF leadership for over a decade. He had previously held the post of Vice President.
