Commemoration stone unveiled.

Sunday 17 August saw the unveiling of a stone monument and plaque in honour of Strabane IRA Volunteer Eugene Devlin who was killed by British troops on 27 December 1972.

The occasion was very emotional for everyone concerned, especially Eugene's family who were delighted that so many people turned out 25 years after his death. Family members unveiled the monument.

Strabane Sinn Féin councillor Jarlath McNulty chaired the proceedings and Ard Chomhairle member, Barry McElduff gave the oration.
