Eileen Quinn was a 24-year-old mother of three young children from County Galway. On All Saints’ Day 1920 she was shot dead outside her home by the Black and Tans of the Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) in one of the most notorious civilian reprisal killings during the Irish War of Independence.
