Seán Garland (1934-2018) joined the Irish Republican Army in the early 1950s and played a leading part in the IRA Border Campaign before becoming President of the Workers’ Party in Ireland. The following is an account of the beginning of the Border Campaign, written by Sean Garland himself before his passing.
