PSNI man killed in bomb attack

A member of the PSNI police has been killed in an undercar booby-trap type attack in County Tyrone.

The attack took place in the village of Killyclogher, a mile from Omagh town. It reportedly targeted a local Catholic member of the PSNI, who had served in Fermanagh.

The deceased has not been named. It is the first fatality suffered by the Crown forces in the conflict in over two years.

The ‘Real IRA’ is already being linked to the incident, which took place at Highfield Close in Killyclogher.
