O'Connell selected for Dublin ward

With over ten years local development experience and several years political experience within the Dublin South Central Constituency, 29-year-old Andrew O'Connell has been selected to run as the Sinn Féin Local Election candidate for next year's Dublin City Council Elections.

drew said he was honoured and proud to be selected by Sinn Féin members within the South West Inner City area. "My nomination as candidate is part of a process which will see Sinn Féin councillors from Crumlin, Ballyfermot and the South West Inner City taking their seats with several other Sinn Féin councillors on Dublin City Council in the forthcoming local elections," he promised.

Along with Aengus Ó Snodaigh TD and his fellow candidates, Robbie Sargent (Crumlin) and Tony Smithers (Ballyfermot), Andrew feels that local people are now being given a real opportunity to have a team of young and modern local representatives fighting for their rights and needs like never before.
