Ógra up and running in Drogheda

A branch of Ógra Sinn Féin has been set up in Drogheda under the guidance of local party member Christopher Clarke. Chris, a longstanding member of the Bobby Sands cumann, hopes to build on the success of Sinn Féin in this year's general election. Sinn Féin attracted the largest percentage of first time voters, coupled with the fact Sinn Féin is the fastest growing political party in Ireland.

Chris has been active in highlighting the ongoing problem of abandoned and burned out cars, the most recent probem area being Laurence Park. Sinn Féin has been in contact with the Borough Council with a view to removing these eyesores as matter of urgency.

Chris can be contacted through the Sinn Féin Advice centre in Rope Walk.
