Ógra 'Brits' invade O'Connell Street

As part of Ógra Shinn Féin's ten-week demilitarisation campaign, Ógra members took to Dublin's O'Connell St dressed in mock British Army uniform to give Dubliners a taste of life under military occupation. The combat fatigues, berets, imitation rifles and Union Jack flag certainly drew attention. This week, Ógra members will keep up the pressure with a sleep-out outside the British embassy in Dublin followed by a demilitarisation weekend in Fermanagh on 29-30 June.
