The newly formed Real Women Drama group from Mullaghbawn are getting ready for the opening night of their first ever production. They will perform a new work by Charlotte Old called 'Brigid's Box', which tells the story of a girl, her secret locked up in the box and her dysfunctional family from hell. Each of the characters has a secret, some are told and some will never be heard; but it all makes for a good night of entertainment. The play is short, about an hour long, and is the first production in which many of the cast have taken part. It is a night of high drama with the music of the '60s accompanying.

This new group was established after taking part in a drama course earlier this year in Mullaghbawn. They hope to keep this women's drama group as a permanent fixture and new members will be welcome for the next production.

McCreesh's shop in Mullaghbawn are the proud sponsors of this production and have helped make the play a reality.

The play will take place on the Solstice night, Friday 21 June and on Sunday 23 June at 8pm sharp in Mullaghbawn Community Hall. Tickets are priced at £4 for adults and £2 for children and OAPs. Everyone welcome - Miss this and you will definitely have missed out.
