THE Beechmount/Iveagh Commemoration Committee along with the Beechmount-Iveagh 1980-'81 Hunger strike committee will have a caravan on the waste ground facing Beechmount Ave, to highlight the Anniversary of the first Hunger Strike. It will be there from the 27 to 29 October and a token Hunger strike will be taking place from 12 midnight until 4pm Sunday. We call on everyone to support this event and to assemble at 1.30pm Saturday 28 Oct, at Beechmount Ave for a vigil

MURAL UNVEILING: Beechmount/Iveagh Commemoration Committee will be unveiling two murals on Sunday the 29 October. One mural will mark the 20th Anniversary of the first Hunger Strike and the other in memory of all republican's who have died in jail
