Ógra relaunch

Ógra Shinn Féin in the Six Counties is to relaunch with a radical activity-based programme in coming months.

ÓSF in the north has seen a lull in its activities over the past number of months and this was the reason for a meeting in Belfast on Sunday last.

It has now been agreed that ÓSF is to be relaunched during a weekend of debates and workshops which will take place on 8 and 9 July in Carrickmore, Co. Tyrone.

The meeting was chaired by National Organiser, Matt Carthy, who was joined by his predecessor, Eoin O'Broin, now the Belfast organiser of Sinn Féin. Approximately 20 activists representing groups from across the Six Counties were present.

The Carrickmore weekend will be open to all young republicans from the Six Counties who want to get involved in Ógra Shinn Féin. It is also intended that the event will see the election of a new Six-County organiser of Ógra Shinn Féin.
