Paddy's Day court bid
The St Patrick's Day Carnival Committee is to take Belfast City Council to court over its refusal to fund this year's St Patrick's Day parade in the city.
The Carnival Committee lodged legal papers with the courts and their application for judicial review is due to be heard on Friday, 11 February.
The Committee officially launched the St Patrick's Day festival on Tuesday 8 February in Belfast City centre.
The theme for this year's St Patrick's Day celebrations is Sean Aimsir, Re Ur (old Worlds, New Dawns).
