PLAY NOTICE: A new play drawing upon the experiences of families of POWs will be shown in DERRY'S PLAYHOUSE next week, on Wednesday 27 October. Developed by the Cúnamh project the play explores the hardships, the pain and the humour which many thousands of families encountered throughout the last 30 years. All of the experiences reflected in the play are based upon many months of discussions involving relatives of POWs and many former POWs from Derry make up the cast. Teacht Abhaile traces the journey of one young Derry couple's experiences, starting in the mid-'70s, a time of escalating conflict within the prisons and vividly depicts the struggle of prisoners and their families in maintaining normal relationships in such extraordinary circumstances. For anyone interested in learning about one of the pivotal times of the conflict this play is a must. It is showing at the Playhouse on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 30 October. Tickets £2.50/concessionary £1.50. For bookings contact Derry 01504 268027. For further information contact Cathy 01504 288868
