BROOKES, Dave (9th Ann). In proud and loving memory of Dave Brookes, who died on 30 November 1990. Dedicated English socialist and activist in support of Irish Republican Movement. He gave so much from a life cruelly cut short. A sound friend who was ``the antidote to dispair''. Always remembered by his friend Mike Walsh, Birmingham.

It only seems like yesterday but still so long ago when the RUC took your young life to break our family, but they only made us stronger Pearse and I know they will know, so sleep Pearse my son until we meet again.
