SFY organised in Munster

The first Munster Sinn Féin Youth conference was convened last weekend and chaired by Clonakilty Sinn Féin Councillor,.Cionnaith O Súilleabháin, with a contribution from local representative Don O'Leary.

SFY delegates from Dublin, Kaniah Ní Chíosóig and Matt Carthy, expressed their encouragement at the level of enthusiasm displayed by the newly formed group in Cork.

Of particular interest was the issue of drugs, which was stressed as being the greatest problem facing young people in the city. It was asserted therefore that young republicans should create a credible alternative to the drug culture, which has spread throughout the city.
