Fermanagh march

The newly formed Fermanagh Sinn Fein Youth, containing groups in East Erne (Lisnaskea, Newtownbutler and Roslea), Derrylin, Enniskillen and Belcoo is organising a march and rally to demand the immediate disbandment of the RUC. The event will take place on Sunday 4 October, starting at Kilmacormick site no 2 at 2.30pm.

Fermanagh SFY are also calling on Fermanagh District Council to ``follow the lead of Belfast City Council and allow bilingual street signs where two-thirds of residents agree to them''.

In a statement Fermanagh SFY said, ``it is time to set about the long overdue process of recognisiing the equal status of the Irish language and the inalienable rights of Gaeilgeoiri .''
