Garvaghy Festival

The North West Portadown Festival/Feile na mBoithre will be on this Saturday and Sunday. During the festival Radio Equality will be back on the air from midday to 8pm.

The excellent documentary, War and Peace in Ireland will be shown on Saturday at 3pm in the Drumcree Centre which will also host a number of exhibitions, both photographic and political cartoons.

From 7pm there will be a Barbecue and open air concert featuring `Bik and Cruncher', Ceoltoiri Rossa Samba Band and traditional music.

Sunday afternoon promises a kaleidoscope of events to please all the family including, sports, disco, face painting, poetry, bingo, BBQ and a guest appearance by the `Teletubbies'!

In the evening the Telling Tales Theatre Company will present ``Dare To Dream' in the Ashgrove Centre. This is a powerful performance with true stories, slides, music and songs from El Salvador and Ireland.

All in all, this Feile promises to rival the best of the Belfast festivals.
