The Alternative G8 Summit, ‘Ideas to Change the World’, addressed subjects including War and Imperialism, Aid Trade & Debt, Privatisation, Civil Liberties, Africa, Globalisation, Climate Change, and Asylum & Immigration was held in Edinburgh.

Speakers on July 3 included George Galloway, George Monbiot, Scott Ritter, and Ken Wiwa.

The following address was delivered by Des Dalton, Vice President of Republican Sinn Féin.
