Resurgent UCG Sinn Féin
Six-County Education minister Martin McGuinness recently visited University College Galway for its Societies Day and addressed an audience of 350 students. The university cumann signed up almost 200 new Sinn Féin members.
McGuinness is pictured with UCG Sinn Féin's Alan Ó Cléirigh in front of a new mural completed for the students by Belfast artists Danny Devenney and Marty Lynch and featuring Liam Mellowes, Ché Guevara, Mairead Farrell and Bobby Sands. In the second shot, the artists are pictured at an early stage of their work.
