Cork man missing

Cork man Thomas Linehan (pictured) has been missing since 3 January and his distraught family are calling on members of the public to provide any information they may have on his whereabouts.

Linehan (61), who lives in Churchfield in Cork, left his home on Wednesday, 3 January at 3.45pm and has not been seen since. The last known sighting of him was at Wellington Bridge, where a taxi dropped him off.

``It is not like my father. He is the type that if he was gone for an hour he would ring home and say where he was,'' says Thomas's son, Darragh.

Thomas Linehan is described as being 5'10'', with dark-rimmmed glasses and a greyish, black beard with a receding hairline. He was last seen wearing navy trousers and a navy check sports coat.
